Dave Cress was born in Chicago, Il and placed into an orphanage and then adopted as an infant by the Cress Family. His birth name was Dave Alsup which is how he got the band stage name. Dave Cress has been performing as a One Man Band for over 6 years now in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Missouri, and South Carolina. He grew up in the late 60's and Early 70's and listened to the best music ever written back in those times. Some would argue he grew up with the best bands that ever existed. His influnceing bands were the Eagles, CCR, Dylan, Cash, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Neil Young, America, and many others of the day.
